Who We Are
NIA Media is a creator-first, Latino-owned aggregator–studio hybrid built to support independent and culturally driven storytellers in today’s evolving streaming ecosystem.
We operate at the intersection of culture, storytelling, and distribution—working with creators who want to retain ownership, reach the right audiences, and build long-term value from their work.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower creators to scale their work through transparent, thoughtful distribution—without compromising ownership, voice, or cultural context.
We believe distribution is not simply about placement. It’s about strategy.
The right platform, the right timing, and the right audience determine whether a project is discovered—or disappears.
What We Do
NNIA Media partners with filmmakers, producers, digital creators, and rights holders to evaluate, position, and distribute content across the global streaming landscape.
Our work spans:
- Distribution strategy and platform positioning
- AVOD, FAST, SVOD, and direct-to-digital distribution
- Technical delivery, metadata, and rights management
- Windowing strategies designed to prioritize long-term value
Every project is approached individually. There is no one-size-fits-all model—only strategies built around the work itself.

How We’re Different
NIA Media was built in response to a distribution ecosystem that often prioritizes scale over creators.
Our approach is:
- Creator-first — ownership and intent come first
- Transparent — clear communication around deals, terms, and monetization
- Strategic — focused on fit, not mass placement
- Culturally fluent — informed by Latino and multicultural storytelling
We don’t chase every opportunity.
We focus on the ones that make sense.
Who We Work With
We collaborate with creators and teams working across:
- Independent feature films
- Documentary and unscripted projects
- Narrative and genre-driven series
- Digital-first creators adapting for long-form and connected TV
Many of the projects we support are culturally rooted, bilingual, or designed to reach audiences that have historically been underserved by traditional distribution models.
Our Role in Today’s Streaming Landscape
As subscription platforms evolve, AVOD and FAST have become essential pathways for independent creators seeking reach, sustainability, and ownership.
NIA Media helps creators understand when—and how—these platforms make sense, bridging creative ambition with the practical realities of distribution.

A Note from the Founder
NIA Media was built out of lived experience.
I’ve spent more than two decades building work at the intersection of culture, media, and technology—first as a creator, then as a builder of platforms, and eventually as someone navigating the realities of distribution from the inside.
I’ve seen what happens when stories connect deeply with audiences—and what happens when those same stories are undervalued, mislabeled, or lost in systems that prioritize scale over substance.
Too often, creators are asked to give up ownership, clarity, or creative intent in exchange for access. Distribution becomes a black box. Decisions are made far from the work itself.
NIA exists to change that dynamic.
We built NIA as an aggregator–studio hybrid because creators don’t need another gatekeeper—they need a partner who understands both the creative process and the mechanics of how work actually moves through today’s ecosystem.
At NIA, we believe distribution is not just about placement.
It’s about alignment—between the work, the audience, and the long-term goals of the creator.
That belief is informed by years spent building independent platforms, launching original programming inside major companies, and watching firsthand how different models either support or extract from creators.
We work with intention.
We don’t chase volume.
We focus on projects that deserve care, strategy, and a real path forward.
NIA is creator-first not as a slogan, but as a practice—one built on transparency, respect for ownership, and an understanding that long-term value is created over time, not overnight.
This company exists so creators can move through the system with clarity, support, and leverage—without losing what made the work matter in the first place.
